Federal university student harassed, stripped, and made to kneel from 10am to 5pm by staff because of how she was dressed

Students of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) have alleged that a female student was assaulted, stripped, punished, and intimidated because of how she was dressed to submit her assignment.

A friend of the abused student said the lady was wearing a "black t-shirt, yellow midi skirt, and tied her hair with durag."

The friend claimed a nonacademic staff accosted the student, accused her of being a cultist and a prostitute. She also claimed the staff accused her of committing abortion and collected her phones, then went through her social media and more.

The staff also allegedly made her kneel down on a cemented floor from 10am to 5pm.

When students of the school got wind of the incident, Rotaract club members stormed the students' affairs building to demand justice for the lady who is one of their members.
