176 In Lagos: Five Days After Lockdown Ease, COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria Nears 4000

The NCDC last night announced 386 new Coronavirus cases in Nigeria. After the ease of lockdown ordered by President Muhammadu Buhari last week and the resumption of business in Lagos State subsequently, the nation has experienced an astronomical rise in the number of daily recorded cases which went sharply from 100 to 300 daily.
As at 11pm on Friday, the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria was 3912 with ten new deaths bringing mortality rate to 117.
