Swimmers spotted a shark moments after a seven-year-old girl was bitten in shallow waters in north Queensland.
The girl was airlifted to Cairns Hospital on Saturday after being bitten on the leg in waters off Russell Island.
Paramedics
say she had a laceration to her leg and a shark was seen swimming away
before the girl's mother made a frantic call for help.
