Teenage girl viciously attacked by catcallers

A teenage girl has been left with horrific injuries after she was attacked by catcallers while wearing a bikini.
KTBS reported that Jessica Byrnes-Laird was allegedly attacked with a brass pipe while parked at a petrol station in the US state of Louisiana.
Ms Byrnes-Laird was still wearing her bikini after a day at the beach as she waited in the car for her boyfriend who was shopping inside. Hhearing a group of men making lewd comments, her boyfriend fought them off before getting in the car to leave.

As they went to drive away someone threw a brass pipe through the passenger window, smashing Ms Byrnes-Laird in the face.
She was left with a least 10 broken teeth and many stitches.
Local police are investigating the surveillance footage which shows the lead=up to the attack.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to cover Ms Byrnes-Laird's dental bills.
