Dr. Biden paid a visit to Vietnam from July 19-21. She looked younger than her age thanks to her dresses of bright colors. In the photo: Mrs. Biden visits Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) in Hanoi. During her first visit to Vietnam, the spouse of US Vice President Joe Biden, Dr Jill Biden, 64, a professional educator, was seen in elegant clothes.

She studied fashion business at one time but later she returned to her interest in research and teaching of English. However, knowledge about the fashion industry has helped her fashion taste.

On July 20, she went to HCM City and visited a young enterprise. She wore a blue-white striped dress with simple design.

At noon July 21, she attended a seminar to share experiences in teaching English with 74 high school teachers in HCM City. She looked very friendly and professional in an elegant suit.

In the afternoon, Mrs. Biden visited disadvantaged children at the Thao Dan Charity House, HCM City. She always kept a bright smile on her lips.

The US second lady has her own independent career. She has worked in the education sector for over 30 years. Leaving HCM City, Mrs. Biden went to Laos to continue the trip to call for governmental and social partners to promote educational and economic opportunities for women.
