It has been a decade since actors Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt got divorced, but the subject still manages to grab headlines. The actress says their split has transformed into a “media-driven topic” even as they have moved on with their lives.
Aniston, who is now in a relationship with actor Justin Theroux, shared her views on her divorce while talking to Lee Cowan, the host of CBS Sunday Morning, reports eonline.com.
“I don’t find it painful, though. I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic,” Aniston said when asked about the constant nudge by her past.
“Well, everybody has,” she added when asked whether she has moved on from her previous marriage.
Pitt and Aniston split in 2005. He has now settled down with Angelina Jolie, and together, they raise six children.
“We’ve exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other, but not a constant thing,” added Aniston, who is now gearing up for next release, Cake.
