United States is spending an “endless” amount of wealth and sacrificing human lives to fight wars on behalf of Israel

“America is now investing endless troops, endless time, endless treasury, exceeding trillions of dollars now, in fighting wars for Israel,” said James Henry Fetzer, who’s also an editor at Veterans Today and a retired professor in Madison, Wisconsin.
“This is a complete and total disaster for the American people brought to us by none other than George W. Bush and especially Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld,” Fetzer told Press TV on Monday.

He went on to say that the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US were contrived by the Bush administration “to get the United States engaged in wars in the Middle East to destruct the modern Arab states that served as a counterbalance to Israel’s domination of the entire region.”
Fetzer also contended that President Barack Obama’s recent authorization to redeploy troops to Iraq to fight the ISIL terrorist group is a “catastrophe for him personally and for the foreign policy of the United States.”
On Friday, Obama authorized the deployment of up to 1,500 troops to Iraq, approximately doubling the force the Pentagon has built up in the country since June.
In 2003, the United States invaded Iraq in blatant violation of international law and under the pretext of finding weapons of mass destruction allegedly stockpiled by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
The US completed its withdrawal of military personnel in December 2011, after nearly nine years of war.
US warplanes have been conducting airstrikes against ISIL in Iraq since early August. Some Western states have also participated in some of the strikes in Iraq.
Since late September, the US and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out airstrikes against ISIL inside Syria without any authorization from Damascus or a UN mandate.

The United States is spending an “endless” amount of wealth and sacrificing human lives to fight wars on behalf of Israel, a “disaster” for the American people and US foreign policy, the co-founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth says.
