Growing up with albinism wasn't easy - Governor Umo Eno says as he vows to always honour people living with albinism

Akwa Ibom State governor, Umo Eno, has promised to always recognise and honour people living with albinism.

The governor, who shared that growing up with the skin condition wasn’t easy, recalled how he faced bullying, body shaming, and rejection. He added that some people even opposed his governorship campaign because of it, but God’s grace lifted him to where he is today.

Speaking further, he said this is why anytime he sees anyone with albinism, he makes it a point to honour and recognise them.
