Shaffy Bello Explains Why She Can’t Date Young Men Anymore

Popular Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has opened up about her stance on dating younger men. During a recent appearance on the podcast “Diary of a Naija Girl”, Shaffy shared her personal reasons for no longer being interested in dating younger men, noting that her mindset and priorities have shifted over the years.

Reflecting on her past relationships, the actress revealed that she once enjoyed dating younger men as part of a fun, carefree phase in her life. “What I want now is different,” she said. “When I did it, I was having fun. It was for a season, and that season is over. But there’s nothing wrong with it.”

Shaffy admitted that dating a younger man was an enjoyable experience at the time, but emphasized that she has moved on to a new chapter in her life where she’s now open to the idea of marriage.

The actress also disclosed that she still receives numerous direct messages (DMs) from young men, which she finds quite surprising and amusing. Despite this attention, Shaffy is clear that her focus has shifted, and she’s no longer interested in exploring relationships with younger men.

Her candid revelation sheds light on how evolving life goals and priorities can influence relationship choices, especially for individuals in the public eye.
