Senator Ned Nwoko has declared that he does not believe in failure, stating that persistence has always been the driving force behind his most ambitious pursuits including the ongoing push for the creation of Anioma State.
Representing Delta North and serving on the Senate Committee on Constitution Review, Nwoko said his commitment to the Anioma cause stems from a deep belief in the strength, culture, and resilience of his people.
“This is more than a personal conviction,” he said. “It is about correcting historical imbalances and ensuring that the Anioma people receive the recognition they rightfully deserve.”
Nwoko, who has secured the support of 91 senators for the Anioma State proposal, emphasized that the campaign is not about personal gain but about justice, identity, and national unity.
“Anioma State has been long overdue. It’s not just a political aspiration; it is a symbol of progress for Nigeria,” he said. “More lawmakers, traditional rulers, and citizens are now rallying behind the vision.”
Drawing from his background as an international lawyer and philanthropist, Nwoko said his approach has been both strategic and inclusive, built on relentless advocacy and belief in change.
“I have seen what persistence can achieve, whether in law, philanthropy, or politics. The Anioma dream is no longer distant it’s becoming a national conversation,” he added.
