Atinuke Adelakun slams ADC-led coalition, urges Tinubu to crush ‘noise-making failures’

…Declares support for President Tinubu, IGP, Gbajabiamila

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs Atinuke Adelakun (née Oke), has criticised the newly announced political coalition led by the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing it as a desperate alliance of “failed politicians” seeking to regain lost political footing.

Speaking from her residence in Itabaale Olugbode, Ibadan, the APC stalwart dismissed the coalition’s credibility, claiming its members are individuals who previously misgoverned the country and plundered public resources.

“They are the ones who plunged Nigeria into crisis through unfulfilled promises and reckless looting. Now, they have woken up thinking Nigerians will fall for their deception again. Never,” she declared.

Mrs Adelakun condemned the coalition’s leaders for their past actions and said they should be held accountable. “They deserve to be stoned or jailed for life for the roles they played in Nigeria’s past misfortunes,” she said.

She also cautioned young Nigerians to remain alert and not be taken in by what she described as the deceptive tactics of political figures attempting to rebrand themselves. Referring to them as “fraudsters in fresh garments,” she described the coalition as a hollow alliance devoid of meaningful plans.

“Our youths must wake up and not allow themselves to be manipulated by these political scavengers who have nothing new to offer except noise and confusion,” she warned.

Reaffirming her allegiance to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Mrs Adelakun called on him to remain resolute and not allow opposition groups to derail his administration’s development agenda.

“Only the APC-led federal government can take Nigeria to the Promised Land. President Tinubu must not allow himself to be distracted by their coalition noise,” she asserted.

She praised the President’s commitment to national growth, describing his leadership as driven by zeal and dedication to building a strong and prosperous Nigeria.

Mrs Adelakun also commended the Inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Egbetokun, for his ongoing efforts to reform the Nigeria Police Force, which she said had become more responsive and proactive.

She concluded by expressing gratitude to her brother, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President, and extended appreciation to her political supporters across the country, affirming her optimism in Nigeria’s progress under Tinubu’s leadership.
