The Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed rumors that Governor Dauda Lawal is planning to switch to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement, Jamil Jibo Magayaki, the State chairman of the PDP, asserted that the claims are false.
“As the chairman of the PDP in this State, I would be informed if Governor Dauda Lawal intended to join the APC,” he stated.
“I can confirm that he remains a dedicated member of our esteemed party.
“These rumors are merely distractions from those who feel threatened by the success of our RESCUE MISSION.
“We stand firmly behind Governor Dauda Lawal and are committed to providing effective governance for the people of Zamfara,” he added.
