Nigerian music icon Tuface Idibia has addressed speculation surrounding his ongoing divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia, and confirmed his romantic involvement with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
In a viral video, the singer dismissed widespread claims linking Natasha to the breakdown of his marriage, stating, “I have seen so many things, so many people coming up with their own false and malicious nonsense after I posted what I posted.”
Tuface described Natasha as a “beautiful, smart, and amazing young woman” whom he loves and intends to marry. However, he clarified that she played no role in the dissolution of his marriage with Annie.
The singer emphasized that he and Annie are not in conflict and that they both understand the reasons behind their separation. The couple, who have been married since 2012, had reportedly been living apart for some time before filing for divorce earlier this year.
In January, Tuface announced his split from Annie in a social media post, which sparked widespread debate online
