DJ Cuppy: Why I’m Still Single At 28

Music producer and Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy, has revealed the reason why she is still single. Dancing to Drake’s song, Way Too Sexy, the entertainer, via a video posted on her verified Instagram account, noted that her single status is because she is ‘way too sexy’.

She captioned the playful video, which also featured her two puppies, “I’ve come to the conclusion that the reason that I’m single is that I’m way TOO SEXY.”

Although in the past, the disc jockey had been romantically linked with Nigerian international footballer, Victor Anichebe, and talent manager, Asa Asika, in recent times, the singer has made it known via her social media accounts that she is not in a romantic relationship.

Born Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola in 2014 she was the resident DJ at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban.

She then played at the Tatler and Christie’s Art Ball in London, and at the Financial Times Luxury Summit in Mexico City.

In July 2014, she released House of Cuppy as her first compilation mix in London and Lagos, before launching it in New York on September 2, 2014. With House of Cuppy, she produced EDM-Esque remixes of songs by leading Afropop artists. In June 2015, Cuppy released House of Cuppy II.

In July 2018, Cuppy launched the Cuppy Foundation. In November 2019, the foundation organized the Gold Gala and raised over N5bn for the Save the Children initiative. Nigerian business Dangote and her father donated to the cause.
