Fernando Torres compared his experience with Chelsea to 'swimming in wet clothes'

El Nino celebrates his goal at the Nou Camp.

He compared the experience to 'swimming in wet clothes'.
Spanish striker Fernando Torres has opened up to the media about his time at Premier League side Chelsea.
Torres joined Chelsea in 2011 in a record breaking £50 million transfer from their rivals Liverpool.
However, he failed to replicate the goalscoring form he had at Anfield when he moved to West London, resulting in him leaving Stamford Bridge to join AC Milan this year.
When speaking to Spanish newspaper El Pais about his time at Chelsea, he said: "The worst part about not playing is when you think that you are ready to do it. You try to get more minutes, taking the chances, but you you end up in a situation where things have not gone well for weeks, or for years."
Despite this, Torres was proud of his Champions League victory at Chelsea, he said: "In the semi-final against Barcelona I scored a goal and in the final I came on with eight minutes remaining and I feel that I helped the team to overcome the result."
The 30-year old is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid until the end of the season. Atleti is the club where Torres started his professional career.
