A gang of men attacked and beheade a local Tanzanian leader last
Friday night in the southern Katavi region, of the East African nation.
They then cooked some of his body parts.
The local police chief Dhahiri Kidavashari identified the dead man as 31-year old Richard Madirisha.
"Five
people stormed into Madirisha's room wielding machetes, beheaded him,
chopped off his legs, hands and genitals," Kidavashari told AFP by
telephone on Sunday adding that there were reports implicating Madirisha
with acts of Adultery.
"The assailants later cooked the body parts outside Madirisha's house" he added
Three suspected men are being questioned by police regarding the tragic incident, the chief police Kidavashari said.
