The adage, “Jack of all trades, master of none’ seems to be the principle of life for many people and that unfortunately includes some believers. Many claim to know a lot but cannot be master over any. Jesus did not only know, but was master, and did what He knew best, healing the sick, teaching and preaching the good news. He had compassion on the crowd and saw the need in them to do these. As Jesus did what He knew best, news about Him spread and without any advertisement, many were brought to Him.
God has not left any man without a talent. What do you know and what can you do best at home, church, work or school? Do it well at every opportunity the Lord gives you, whether it brings monetary benefits, fame, popularity or not. Do it all to the glory of God. Get up and go about doing what you know best. Pray, study the word of God, evangelize, commune with God, fellowship with others, visit the sick, encourage the weak and do as much as possible. As you do so to the glory of Lord, God will take you to the eve for which you are destined.
